Startup Funding Club announces launch of new investor platform
London, UK, May 2017 – Startup Funding Club (SFC) hosted its May pitching and networking event this week. The occasion took place at a new location, citizenM Tower of London, where SFC introduced four early-stage companies to a crowd of investors.
Stephen Page, CEO of Startup Funding Club, welcomed guests and introduced them to the sponsors of the evening: SFC Bennett Brooks, Stackhouse Poland, and a first-timer, Withers Worldwide.
Before the four startups pitched their businesses, Daniel Tait, SFC’s dealflow manager, announced the launch of the SFC investor platform. This new online platform allows SFC investors to review investment opportunities, make enquiries, and register their interest in companies; and new features will be added in the coming weeks.
To keep the startups’ and investors’ information confidential, the platform is only available to registered users. New investor requests to join www.invest.startupfundingclub.com will be screened by the SFC team before being granted access to the platform.
“We have been working very hard to build this platform and are very happy to be launching it now”, said Joseph Zipfel, investment manager at Startup Funding Club. “We believe this new system will improve the syndication process and ease the communication between companies and investors.”
